How Lyles Signature Homes Makes Building Your Custom Home Simpler
Light and plumbing fixtures, tile and flooring, paint and stain…it’s all part of the creative process of building your custom home. It can be…overwhelming.
That’s why Lyles Signature Homes employs a full time interior design team to help you make those decisions and keep your project on time and in budget.
Whether you’re building in Flowood, Brandon, Madison, Ridgeland or anywhere else, working your way through the creative process doesn’t have to be difficult.
We know you’re busy and probably have much better things to do than spend all day in a tile store. So our interior designer will help you set up a Houzz account where they will get to know your tastes and what you are looking for in your home.
Then they will help setup appointments with vendors and pre-select items they feel will fit your style and your budget. From there, it’s all about honing in on the perfect addition to your home.
You will have plenty of time to make your selections so that those hard to find items will be ordered in a timely manner. We want you to enjoy the process of designing your home and make it as stress free as possible.
Your selections for your custom master bedroom and bath, kitchen and other areas of your home now need to be integrated into the building process.
This is another way our interior designer helps to simplify the process? Believe it or not, one of the first items you’ll need to decide on for your home is your master tub. Any guess why? The drain locations can vary from either side and the middle. So when the foundation is poured, this needs to be done correctly. It’s the same throughout the building process. Making decisions like these before these items are needed are important for keeping the project on time.
Sometimes seeing the “bones” of your home helps you decide certain details that you may not have seen otherwise. Trim carpentry is the trade where we build your kitchen cabinetry, install your doors, build your master closet pieces and everywhere else you put or store something. We build our cabinetry on site. You will have the opportunity to walk through the home with the designer and the trim carpenter, and have input on the design. Would you like a spice rack next to the oven? Maybe two shoe racks in your master closet? How about spaces for your cookie sheets that makes them easy to get to? The interior designer will work with the trim carpenter to get you what you want.
Does this make you want to build a home with us? We sure hope so. We enjoy what we do and we certainly enjoy seeing the faces of our clients after we turn the keys over to them.
